Excellence in Small Business Awards - 2022
Four Warragul small businesses were recently presented with business excellence awards by the Rotary Club of Warragul at a club dinner meeting. In presenting certificates to the proprietors of Rowe’s Nursery, Choo Choo’s Coffee, Gifts and Glamour and The Press Cellars, Warragul Rotary President Diane Carson said these businesses represent both outstanding customer service and a support for their local community.
Warragul Rotary President Diane Carson was pleased to present “Excellence in Small Business” awards to four outstanding Warragul businesses.

Deb Green from Choo Choo’s Coffee at the Warragul Station is up every morning at 430am to serve all her customers coming and going from the Warragul Station. A worthy recipient of the award.

Gifts and Glamour has a shop in both Drouin and Warragul. Coral Smith and Jenny King at Warragul not only provide friendly service to customers but also to support a range of community activities in the district.

The Press Cellars in Warragul is the place where you get great product knowledge with that personal touch from Stewart Hay and his staff. They are also always ready to support a local community event.

The “Excellence in Small Business” awards is an annual project for the Rotary Club of Warragul. The award focuses on small businesses and is designed to acknowledge the demonstration of a commitment to customer service and community support. This year the project was run by Warragul Rotary’s vocational services director Alan Tatlow.
