Rotary Club of Warragul
Our Success Stories
Warragul Rotary Club raises around $50,000 each year, which we are proud to distribute to projects locally, for the district, nationally and internationally. Some projects we have supported include:
- Sponsors International student exchanges to and from Australia
- Hosts an Annual Art Show in the Baw Baw Shire
- Grows and sells Christmas trees.
- Refurbished Rotary Park at the corner of Latrobe and Queen Streets in 2013/14 supplied and erected the gates to Logan Park.
- Built the Warragul Guide Hall at Brogie Park.
- Provided a bus for the Pindari Vision Australia centre.
- Fund raised for and built the Helipad at West Gippsland Hospital
- Extended the kitchen for Warragul Scout Hall
- Built the day centre for Scope.
- Funded and worked on Aid projects in Indonesia,Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe with clean water and school repairs.
- Provided immediate shelter for 100 people via Rotary with shelter boxes after the Boxing Day tsunami.
