Three Warragul small businesses were recently presented with business excellence awards by the Rotary Club of Warragul at a club dinner meeting. In presenting certificates to the proprietors of Studio 21 Music School, Warragul Dry Cleaners and Aussie Disposals, Warragul Rotary President Chris Drenen said these businesses represent both outstanding customer service and a support for their local community.

Studio 21 Music School
Studio 21 Music School is led by talented musician and performer Tammy Patrick. Tammy teaches students of all ages and ability levels with enthusiasm and commitment and is dedicated to developing their confidence and abilities.

Warragul Dry Cleaners
Warragul Dry Cleaners is a local family business operated by the Bourke family for over 30 years. Manager and co-owner Jo Bourke ensures customers benefit from state-of-the-art technologies combined with highly trained and skilled staff and attention to detail in restoring the appearance of garments entrusted to their care.

Aussie Disposals
Jamie and Tamara Padfield took over the ownership of Aussie Disposals three years ago. They have a great range of work wear, outdoor and camping gear to suit local needs. Sales staff are always on hand, knowledgeable and ready to help.

The “Excellence in Small Business” awards is an annual project for the Rotary Club of Warragul. The award focuses on small businesses and is designed to acknowledge the demonstration of a commitment to customer service and community support. This year the project was run by Warragul Rotary’s vocational services director Alan Tatlow.
