“Christmas trees grown and sold by the Rotary Club of Warragul will be on sale from Friday 1 December” says Club President Vaughan Fox. “There is nothing more Christmasy than the smell of a real pine Christmas tree in the living room”.

Trees and stands will b able to be purchased in Warragul at the usual places, BP Warragul in Brandy Creek Road and Rowes Nursery in Landsborough Road. Trees are also available in Neerim South at Blerick Tree Farm.

“Why not take the kids up to the plantation and choose your own tree” suggests Vaughan Fox. “Rotarians will be on hand to help you saw and load your tree.”

The Christmas tree plantation is in Burke Road (next to the Gulwarra Heights Cemetery). Plantation sales are on Saturdays and Sundays (10am to 4pm).

The Rotary Christmas trees is very much a community supported project. Our major retail outlet for Christmas trees in Warragul at Warragul BP sell the trees for the club at no charge to the club as a community service. And again this year the club has assistance with harvesting trees from students at the Warragul Regional College who use it as a fund raiser for their World Challenge community project when they travel overseas.
